This is the support page for Inscape: Reflections Within, the iOS app from Moon Dust Foundry.
Write to us about a problem with the app, a question about a subscription, general feedback, or a feature you would like to see. Inscape is made by one person, so replies are written by hand and may take a little time.

If you are reporting a problem, these details help a great deal:
- Your iPhone model.
- Your iOS version.
- Your Inscape app version.
- A short description of what happened.
- The steps that led to it, if you can make it happen again.
Please do not send your Attunement answers, details of your Mirror, Journal entries, or a personal account of what you were reflecting on. None of it is needed to fix a problem, and Inscape is built so that this material stays on your device.
Please also never send an Apple ID password, payment information, or Sandbox credentials. Moon Dust Foundry will never ask you for any of them.
Subscriptions and Inscape Pro
Apple handles payment and subscriptions for Inscape Pro through the App Store. Moon Dust Foundry does not receive or store payment-card numbers or Apple ID passwords.
- A completed purchase is not recognized. Open Inscape and use Restore Purchases.
- Viewing, changing, or cancelling a subscription. Use the Apple subscription settings for the Apple ID that made the purchase.
- Deleting Inscape does not cancel a subscription. An App Store subscription continues until it is cancelled through Apple.
Apple's own support page explains the steps: cancel a subscription from Apple. The same Apple subscription settings are also where you view or change one.
If a purchase still is not recognized after using Restore Purchases, write to us with your iPhone model, iOS version, and Inscape app version, and we will help you work out what happened. Requests for a refund are handled by Apple, not by Moon Dust Foundry.
Optional, and always with your permission
Inscape decides the substance of a Reflection on your device. Connected Synthesis is an optional step that can express that already-decided material as more cohesive prose. It is never the source of the meaning, and Inscape asks your permission before the first connected request.
- Every Reflection you are able to begin can be completed through local composition on your device.
- If the network, the service, the provider, a time limit, or validation prevents Connected Synthesis from completing, Inscape uses the complete Reflection it has already composed on your device.
- You can change your Connected Synthesis choice at any time in Settings.
Choosing local-only synthesis does not reduce a Reflection to a fragment or an error message. It is a complete Reflection, composed from the same plan.
Local information and Start Over
The name you enter, your Attunement answers, your Mirror history, and your Journal are stored locally on your device.
- Start Over removes Inscape's locally stored name, Attunement information, Mirrors, Journal Reflections, local free-use count, and Connected Synthesis permission choice from that device.
- Deleting the app removes its locally stored information from that device. Information may remain in an Apple device backup, which is controlled by you.
- We cannot recover a deleted Mirror or Journal. Inscape has no account and keeps no separate cloud copy, so there is nothing for us to restore from.
- Neither action cancels an Apple subscription. A subscription is cancelled through Apple.
Because Start Over cannot be undone, Inscape asks you to confirm before it runs.

What Inscape is for
Inscape is a tool for personal reflection and self-observation. It does not provide medical or mental-health advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency assistance, and it does not predict outcomes or tell you what you should do. You remain the authority on what a Reflection means.
